A Tangram is one of the most marvellous open ended toys, with origins that can be traced way back to re-arrangement puzzles of the 3rd century BC! Bloon Toys Tangrams is a Magnetic toy with hidden magnets embedded inside, so you can simply put the puzzle up on your fridge, and watch the kitchen become the most playful of spaces!

It is handmade using white oak, hand sanded and finished with tung oil - a food grade wood finish and preservative. A tangram traditionally consists of 7 'tans' or pieces, that can be rearranged in different ways to make hundreds of shapes.Hidden magnets embedded inside helps you place it on any magnetic surface.

They can be used as a challenge (rearrangement puzzle) - observe the outline of a given shape and replicate it using all seven pieces, without overlap. Or they can be used to bring alive ones imagination or to create ones own shapes, patterns and stories.

Ages: 3 to all ages!
