Age Groups and Usage

The Growing Set Level 3 is recommended for Ages 6 - 16++

If using younger, adult supervision is recommended up
till the age of 2.

The Pikler MAX itself is usable right away out of the box - you can set it up in the various positions by adjusting the knob mechanism.

Wall Hook Installation:
The Wall Hook needs to be installed against the wall. It comes with all the hardware and detailed instructions, however you would need a carpenter or someone skilled with a drill machine to install it.

You can visit our Assembly Guides section for help and video guides to set up the various positions, adding attachments and attaching the wall hook.

Ceiling Pikler Pre Installation Checks:
There are pre-installation checks that need to be carried out by your apartment/house contractor or architect.

Ceiling Pikler Installation:
The Ceiling Pikler needs to be installed by a skilled carpenter. We provide all the hardware, tools and a detailed guide to installation.

The Pikler Max and Ceiling Pikler have been strength-tested to withstand upto (and over!) 100 kgs

Rope Ladder, Trapeze Bar and Disc Swing support upto 70kgs

It’s made using sustainable, child safe materials - European Birch plywood, beech wood rungs, rubber knobs, and our proprietary steel and aluminium gear mechanism, and finished using child safe finishes.

The Pikler MAX itself weighs 20 kgs - so is very stable and will not topple.

Dimensions of each of the four segments are 29” in width (across the rungs), 27.5” in height and 3” in depth.

In mountain position on the ground, it is 44” in height (more if it’s a steeper, more adventurous mountain).

The Wall mounted position stands at 6’5” tall from the ground.

The Ceiling Pikler suspends at 12" from a true ceiling. The length of the ladder is 46" and the width is 22.8"

Store in a cool, dry and dust free, well ventilated environment.

Wooden toys can be wiped with a damp cloth followed by a dry one.
