There are three holes in the tiny disc.

Hole 1 - through which the disc swing is coming out,

Hole 2 - intermediate hole, and

Hole 3 - rope connected to knob end.

1) Position the 3 hole disk as per the length required for the swing

2) Make a small loop between hole 1 and hole 2

3) Pass knob end of rope through the Pikler rung & then through the loop entirely

4) Pull swing disc end down sharply to tighten after passing all of the extra end of the rope through the loop!

It has been strength-tested to withstand upto (and over!) 70 kgs.
